Office Manager Position

Office Manager Job Responsibilities:

  • Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures
  • Inspect the levels of business supplies and raw material to identify shortages
  • Ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customers
  • Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory
  • Complete transactions in the inventory management and customer relationship software application (Tradegecko)
  • Update Tradegecko with product details
  • Use software to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory
  • Answering incoming calls from prospective customers
  • Place orders to replenish stock avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus
  • Analyze data to anticipate future needs
  • Collaborate with sales people and other staff to ensure business goals are met
  • Report to upper management on stock levels, issues etc.
  • Does light housekeeping around the office
  • Decorates the windows for seasons and holidays
  • Take phone order and pack and ship via UPS

 [Work Hours & Benefits] Monday - Thursday 9:30am- 5pm .  One day work at home may be available after 120 days of employment.

 Office Manager Qualifications / Skills:

  •  Familiarity with office processes, including filing, handling mail and directing telephone calls
  • Computer literacy and facility with word processing, spreadsheets, data entry and basic accounting software
  • Accurate and efficient typing skills for data entry, drafting correspondence and other documents
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service acumen
  • Attention to detail, solid organization and multi-tasking abilities
  • Maturity, integrity and willingness to learn
  • Proven experience as telemarketer or similar sales/customer service role
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas preferably over the phone
  • Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
  • Proficient in English
  • Skilled in negotiation and dealing with complaints
  • Persistent and results-oriented
  • Patient and able to handle customer rejection

 

 Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Two to three years’ experience in an office setting manager
  • Proficient with office software
